02Industry solutions

Configured for how your industry actually works

Lot traceability in food, karat-weight costing in jewellery, cross-docking in 3PL, retention billing in construction. The details differ, and they decide whether an ERP fits.

03Why ERP Builders

Fewer surprises after go-live

We are opinionated about the things that make ERP projects succeed, and we will hold the line on them even when it is inconvenient.

01

Standard before custom

We push configuration as far as it will go before writing code. Every custom module is something you will maintain through every upgrade, so it has to earn its place.

02

Data treated as a project

Migration has its own owner, scripts, mock runs and reconciliation sign-off. Opening balances that do not tie out are a go-live blocker, not a post-launch fix.

03

Integrations you can see

Every connection is idempotent, retried with backoff, logged and alerted. When an order fails to sync, someone knows within minutes — not at month end.

04

Consultants who can read code

Functional and technical people work as one team, so a requirement is never lost between a workshop and a pull request.

05

Training on real transactions

Users rehearse their actual jobs in a production-like environment with their own data before cutover. Adoption is planned, not hoped for.

06

Plain-language estimates

Ranges with assumptions written down, change control that is visible, and no invented ROI percentages to close a deal.

04Implementation process

A delivery method built to avoid the usual failure points

  1. 01

    Discovery

Process walkthroughs on the floor and in the office, a systems inventory, data profiling and a prioritised requirements list with every gap marked as configure, extend or defer.

  2. 02

    Solution design

A written design covering module setup, chart of accounts, product and warehouse structure, approval rules, integrations and the migration plan — signed off before build starts.

  3. 03

    Build & configure

Iterative configuration and development in short cycles, demonstrated on your data every two weeks so problems surface while they are cheap to fix.

  4. 04

    Migrate & integrate

Scripted extraction and transformation, at least two full mock migrations with reconciliation, and integrations tested against realistic volumes and failure cases.

  5. 05

    Test & train

Scenario-based user acceptance testing written by your team, followed by role-specific training on the transactions each person will actually perform.

  6. 06

    Go-live & hypercare

A rehearsed cutover plan, a go/no-go checklist and two to six weeks of close support while the first period closes and the first issues are ironed out.

05ERP integrations

One system of record, connected to everything around it

Orders from Shopify and Amazon, payments from Stripe, leads from HubSpot, documents to DocuSign. Each integration has a defined owner for every field, a retry policy and an alert when something fails.

06ERP migration

Move off the old system without losing history — or trust

Whether you are leaving QuickBooks, an ageing on-premise ERP or a decade of spreadsheets, migration is where most go-live problems start. We script every load so it can be repeated, run full mock migrations, and reconcile stock quantities, open orders and ledger balances line by line before cutover.

07AI + ERP automation

Applied AI, on top of data you can trust

AI is useful in ERP where there is repetitive reading, matching and drafting. It is not a substitute for clean master data or sound process design — so we deploy it with human review and an audit trail.

  • Document captureSupplier invoices and purchase orders read, matched to POs and queued for approval.
  • Assisted supportTicket triage and draft replies grounded in order, shipment and warranty data.
  • Sales assistanceQuote drafting, follow-up reminders and pipeline hygiene from CRM activity.
  • Ask your ERPPlain-language questions answered from permission-aware reports.

08 — Custom ERP development

When the standard product is the wrong shape

Some operations — unusual costing, regulated batch records, complex rental or service models — fight every off-the-shelf ERP. For those, we design and build custom ERP software or substantial extensions, with a data model that matches the business and an architecture that can be maintained for years.

  • Domain-driven data model, not a generic template
  • APIs first, so every function can be integrated
  • Automated tests and documented deployment
  • Full source code ownership

09 — ERP consulting

Advice from people who have to deliver it

Selection, readiness assessments, process redesign, project recovery and ERP audits. Our recommendations are shaped by implementation experience, so they account for the data, integration and adoption work that slide decks tend to skip.

  • Platform selection with scripted demos on your scenarios
  • Total cost of ownership over five years, not just licences
  • Audit of stalled or underperforming implementations
  • Roadmaps that phase value early

10Technology capabilities

The stack behind the work

Boring, well-understood technology wherever possible. ERP systems run businesses for a decade; novelty is a liability.

  • Odoo (Community & Enterprise)
  • Custom ERP on Python / TypeScript
  • ERPNext (advisory)
  • Dynamics 365, NetSuite, SAP B1 (migration source)

Data

  • PostgreSQL
  • SQL Server / MySQL extraction
  • ETL scripting in Python
  • Data quality profiling

Integration

  • REST & GraphQL APIs
  • Webhooks & event queues
  • OAuth 2.0 / API keys / HMAC
  • EDI and SFTP file exchange

Infrastructure

  • Docker
  • Linux / Nginx
  • AWS, Azure, GCP, Odoo.sh
  • Backups, monitoring & alerting

Reporting & AI

  • Power BI & Looker Studio
  • SQL reporting views
  • LLM document extraction
  • Retrieval over ERP data

Engineering practice

  • Git-based delivery
  • Automated tests
  • Staging → production promotion
  • Upgrade-safe module design

13 — Client references

Ask the people we have worked with

We do not publish anonymous quotes or testimonials we cannot verify. During an evaluation we arrange reference calls with clients whose operations resemble yours, so you can ask them directly how the project went — including what was hard.

FAQ

Questions we hear before most projects

What does an ERP implementation partner actually do?

We translate how your business runs into how the ERP is configured: documenting processes, setting up modules, building the extensions that are genuinely needed, migrating and reconciling data, connecting other systems, training users on their real work and supporting the first weeks after go-live. The software vendor provides the product; the partner makes it fit.

How long does an ERP implementation take?

For a small or mid-sized company with a defined scope, a first phase usually runs somewhere between three and nine months. The biggest variables are data quality, the number of integrations, how much customisation is truly required and how much time your own team can commit. We give a range only after discovery, with the assumptions written down.

Do you only work with Odoo?

Our implementation practice is built on Odoo, and we also build custom ERP software for operations that standard products fit poorly. For selection and advisory work we are platform-neutral, and we will tell you when ERPNext, Dynamics 365, NetSuite or another system is the better fit.

Can you take over a project another partner started?

Yes. Recovery work starts with an audit of configuration, custom code, data and open issues, followed by a stabilisation plan. We are candid about what should be kept, what should be rebuilt and what should be switched back to standard functionality.

Can our ERP connect to Shopify, Salesforce, QuickBooks or our own software?

Usually, yes. We build integrations with commerce platforms, marketplaces, payment providers, CRMs, accounting tools and custom systems — designed with clear data ownership, idempotent calls, retries, logging and alerts so failures are visible and recoverable.

What does ERP implementation cost?

Cost depends on scope, users, integrations, data migration effort and customisation. Rather than quote a generic number, we explain the cost drivers in our ERP cost guide and give you a scoped estimate after a short discovery. We will not give you a low number to win the work and recover it in change requests.
