Odoo Community includes a real manufacturing app: bills of materials, manufacturing orders, work centres and operations, linked to purchasing, inventory and invoicing. It's open source with no licence fee, and we set it up for free.
Overview
What free covers, and what it doesn't
Some manufacturing features are Enterprise-only, including quality control, product lifecycle management (PLM), the master production schedule and the shop-floor tablet app. Many small and mid-sized manufacturers run fine without them; we'll tell you honestly if you'd miss them.
Hosting isn't included. You pay your hosting provider directly.

We install and set up Odoo Community, the free open-source edition of Odoo, at no cost. There is no licence fee for the software and no charge for the setup.

Hosting is not included. You run Odoo on your own server or cloud account and pay your hosting provider directly. We can recommend options.

Data migration, customisation, integrations and training go beyond setup. We quote them up front, so nothing is billed without your agreement.

Is Odoo manufacturing free?
Yes. The Manufacturing app (MRP) is part of Odoo Community, which is free and open source. Some advanced features such as quality, PLM and the master production schedule need Enterprise.
Is hosting free?
No. The setup is free, but you pay for hosting yourself. Odoo runs on your own server or cloud account, and you pay the hosting provider directly. We'll recommend a size that suits your users and data.
Is Odoo Community good enough for a small factory?
For many small manufacturers, yes, especially for discrete production with clear BOMs. If you need heavy scheduling or quality workflows, compare Community with Enterprise first.
Can you load our existing BOMs?
Yes, as a quoted extra. The free setup includes a sample of BOMs to prove the flow; a full migration is priced on volume and data quality.
