Overview
The kitchen display screen is an Enterprise feature; Community sends orders to kitchen printers instead. Hosting and hardware aren't included, and you pay for those yourself.
Free Odoo setup
We install and set up Odoo Community, the free open-source edition of Odoo, at no cost. There is no licence fee for the software and no charge for the setup.
Odoo Community is licensed under LGPLv3: no licence fee, no user limit and no expiry.
We install Odoo Community on your server and set up the core apps your business needs.
Hosting is not included. You run Odoo on your own server or cloud account and pay your hosting provider directly. We can recommend options.
Data migration, customisation, integrations and training go beyond setup. We quote them up front, so nothing is billed without your agreement.
Focus areas
Your floor plan on screen, with orders held per table until the bill.
Orders sent to kitchen and bar printers by category.
Split bills, tips and multiple payment methods.
Recipes as bills of materials so sales consume ingredients from stock.
Purchase orders to suppliers from reorder levels.
Approach
We set up Point of Sale in restaurant mode, Inventory and Purchase on Odoo Community for free, with your floor plan, menu and printers.
Recipe costing for the full menu, multi-outlet setups and delivery-platform integrations are optional extras, quoted first.
