Odoo Community is free, open-source ERP. ERP Builders installs and sets it up for your business at no cost, so you can run sales, purchasing, inventory, invoicing and more without a licence fee or a setup fee.

Overview

What free covers, and what it doesn't

Free here means two specific things: the software has no licence fee, and we don't charge to set it up. Hosting isn't included. Odoo runs on a server you own or rent, and you pay that provider directly.

Anything beyond setup, such as moving data from your old system, building custom features, connecting other software or training a large team, is optional. We quote it in writing before any work starts.

How the engagement is structured

We start with a short call to understand what your business does and which apps you need. Then we install Odoo Community on your hosting, set up your company, users, taxes and the apps we agreed on, and walk you through it.

You own the installation and the data. If you later need features from Odoo Enterprise, custom development or integrations, we'll tell you what it costs first, and you decide.

Is the Odoo setup really free?

Yes. We install and set up Odoo Community at no charge. You pay nothing for the software or the setup.

Is hosting free?

No. The setup is free, but you pay for hosting yourself. Odoo runs on your own server or cloud account, and you pay the hosting provider directly. We'll recommend a size that suits your users and data.

What isn't included in the free setup?

Hosting, data migration from your old system, custom development, integrations with other software and extended training. We quote those separately and only if you want them.

Do you set up Odoo Enterprise for free?

The free setup covers Odoo Community. Odoo Enterprise needs a paid subscription from Odoo S.A., and we quote Enterprise implementations separately.

Is ERP Builders part of Odoo?

No. ERP Builders is an independent Odoo services company, not affiliated with Odoo S.A.
